You can update a Visibility Audit’s (report’s) schedule, set it to run regularly for the first time, choose the day it runs, or stop it from running altogether, all from the Visibility Audit’s Settings.
- You can schedule any Visibility Audit (report), old or new.
- Stopping a scheduled Visibility Audit from running does not delete it. You can still view, edit, and manually rerun it later.
- If you want to avoid any future charges, stop the schedule before the next run is processed.
Changing a Visibility Audit’s schedule
If you want to change how often your Visibility Audit (report) runs, or stop it from running at all, follow these steps:
- Open the Visibility Audit you’d like to update.
- Click Settings in the left menu.
- Under the Report run schedule, choose how often you want it to run.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page.
- Click Save to confirm your changes.
- Your Visibility Audit will now run on the new schedule.
Choosing the day your Visibility Audit runs
When your Visibility Audit (report) is set to run Weekly or Monthly, you can pick the exact day it runs. Look for Choose a preferred day just below the schedule options. As you change the day, the Next run date updates to show exactly when the next run will happen.
Leaving it on Default
If you leave Choose a preferred day set to Default, your Visibility Audit runs on the day you created it and stays on that cadence in the future. For example, a Weekly audit created on a Wednesday keeps running on Wednesdays, and a Monthly audit created on the 17th keeps running on the 17th. Runs happen overnight, US Pacific time.
Setting a day for a Weekly schedule
With Weekly selected, open the day dropdown and choose any day of the week, Monday through Sunday. Your Visibility Audit will run on that day each week.
Setting a day for a Monthly schedule
With Monthly selected, open the day dropdown and choose any day of the month. Your Visibility Audit will run on that day each month. If you choose a day that a given month does not have, such as the 31st in a shorter month, the audit runs on the last day of that month instead.
