The short answer is that the location in a project can't be changed once it's been created. But there are a few workarounds.
How does the location setting work now?
Once a Project or a Visibility Audit (formerly known as a report) has been created, its location setting cannot be changed. If you would like to see results for a different region, you will need to create a new project and select the correct location during setup.
This ensures results are accurate and aligned with the models’ responses for that specific region.
Can I still update other details after my Visibility Audit has run?
Yes. After your Visibility Audit has run once, you can still edit its personas, topics, and prompts, just not the location. If you would like your personas to reflect a location-specific detail, you can edit the Personas (left-side menu when viewing your Visibility Audit) and add that detail to the persona descriptions, then regenerate the persona’s prompts so they match.
Your Visibility Audit cannot be rerun manually. These changes take effect automatically the next time it runs on its schedule.
Pro tip: If you plan to compare multiple geographies, we recommend setting up a separate project for each location.
