You may not always see the option to edit a Visibility Audit (formerly known as a report) in Gumshoe. In some cases, certain features you've read about might also be hidden. Below are the most common reasons why this happens.
You're not signed into the right account
Only the original creator of a Visibility Audit (or users with Admin access on the company account or workspace) can edit its elements. Make sure you are signed into the account that created it, and that you are viewing it from a company account or workspace where you have Admin access.
- You can check which account you're using by clicking your profile icon in the bottom left corner of your Gumshoe account and then clicking Settings.
- You can check the company account or workspace you're in by checking the top left corner of your screen.
You don't have permission
If someone shared their project with you or added you to a workspace as a Viewer, you may only have read-only access. You may not be able to edit or clone the Visibility Audit.
In that case, you'll be able to view Visibility Audits but not change the setup. Reach out to your company account or workspace Admin if you need edit access. If an individual shared their project with you, ask if you can create your own workspace where you can grant yourself Admin access, or if they would like to add you to a workspace they already manage with a higher role.
