You can export your Gumshoe Visibility Audit (formerly known as a report) data in several ways, depending on your needs. CSV exports are available on multiple pages within your Visibility Audit, and a full JSON or CSV export of the Visibility Audit is also available.
How do I download prompts and conversation data?
To download all the conversations tracked in your Visibility Audit, go to the Conversations page and click the "Export CSV" button in the upper-right corner.
Each row in the export represents one prompt. The columns include the prompt ID, the persona who asked it, and the full prompt text (for example, "Which TVs offer full P3 color gamut coverage and professional calibration settings?"). The export includes the AI model’s answers to the prompts. You will also see a column for each AI model showing your brand’s rank in that response, where a number indicates your brand was recommended at that position and a blank means your brand did not appear. Topic columns at the end of the sheet use an X to indicate which topics a prompt belongs to, and a prompt can belong to multiple topics.
How do I download citation data?
To download citation data, open your Citations (formerly the Sources page) in the left navigation under Monitor (labeled Citation Audit on the Pro plan) and click the "Export CSV" button in the top right corner. Each row in the export represents one citation from one model response. It includes the Answer ID, Prompt ID, the cited URL and domain, the model that cited it, the persona, the prompt text, and the topics associated with that prompt. This is useful for identifying which sites are driving your AI visibility and for link-building research.
How do I export the full Visibility Audit (JSON, CSV, or PDF)?
To export the Visibility Audit dashboard, click the "..." dropdown next to the "Share" button and choose your desired file type.
The JSON export includes all core Visibility Audit data: visibility scores, mentions, personas, topics, citations, and prompts and responses. This format works well for internal dashboards, sharing with engineering or data teams, and custom analysis.
The PDF export includes your run overview, trend chart, leaderboard, heatmaps, personas, topics, and citations. This export makes Gumshoe Visibility Audits easy to share outside the platform and easier to pull into slide decks.
The CSV export from this menu does not include competitors, citations, or copies of the model’s answers, and images such as heatmaps and graphs are not exported.
How do I link exports together using IDs?
Each CSV export uses shared ID fields, making it easy to combine data across files in Excel or Google Sheets. The main Visibility Audit CSV and the Conversations export both include a Prompt ID, and the Citations export includes both a Prompt ID and an Answer ID.
You can use these as join keys to connect your data. For example, using a VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP on the Prompt ID lets you pull prompt text and persona information from your Conversations export directly into your Citations export, so you can see which prompts generated which citations in a single sheet. The Answer ID can be used to tie a specific citation back to a specific model response.
This is especially useful if you want to build a combined view showing, for a given prompt, which brands were mentioned, which sites were cited, and which models produced each result.
