You see this screen when you already have a project with the same brand and the same title. Nothing is broken and nothing has gone wrong. Gumshoe is checking that you did not create the same project twice by accident.
How do I get past it?
Type a different title in the New Report Title field and click Create New Report. That is the whole fix.
The field arrives already filled in with the title you just used, which is why the screen can look like a dead end. Change the text in that field and continue.
Why did it appear when my location is different?
The check looks at the brand and the title only. It does not look at location, language, or product category. So if you are tracking the same product category in two countries, both projects start life with the same title and the second one brings up this screen.
Give each project a title that says what makes it different. For example, Gaming Consoles 2 and Gaming Consoles Australia. The title is just a label, so you can name it whatever helps you tell your projects apart.
What if I actually meant to open the project I already have?
Click Go to the existing report and Gumshoe will open it instead.
Why does it say report instead of project?
Parts of the product still use the older wording. What this screen creates is a project, which holds your Visibility Audit (formerly known as a report) along with the other audits your plan includes.
