What happens when I finalize my project?
After you set your project parameters, such as brand name, URL, and product or service, you will set the personas, topics, and prompts for your audits. You finalize the audit and choose a subscription for your project. Gumshoe then runs the audit based on the schedule associated with the subscription. Each persona poses your prompts to the AI models. Asking through personas this way helps reduce model bias and generates more authentic, user-aligned results. Projects and their audits always run for the first time when the subscription has been purchased.
How do I set my project to run on a schedule?
You set your project to run on a schedule by choosing a subscription, and the subscription you pick sets that schedule: how often the project and its audits run. Once your subscription is set up, the project runs automatically on that schedule, so you can track your brand's visibility over time without having to rerun anything by hand.
Coming soon: you will be able to pick the specific days your runs happen. This option may not be visible right at the summer 2026 subscription launch, so if you do not see it yet, it is on the way.
What should I expect during the run?
When viewing a specific audit you may see the following:
- Progress bars appear for each AI model as data is collected.
- You may begin to see partial results while other results continue loading.
- Once all data is collected, the progress box at the top of the page goes away.
How long does a run take?
- Run time varies based on the number of AI models, personas, and prompts in your Visibility Audit.
- Most audits complete within a few minutes, though high-volume audits may take longer.
Once complete, your Visibility Audit shows how your brand is positioned in AI-generated summaries, citations, and search behavior across the leading AI platforms.
