Every new company account gets one free sample audit, a smaller, lighter version of a full Visibility Audit (formerly known as a report). It runs a limited set of personas, prompts, and AI models, which is enough to see how Gumshoe works and how AI models talk about your brand before you choose a paid plan.
Is Technical Audit included in my free sample?
No. Technical Audit is available on Starter and Pro projects. Upgrading your free sample to a paid plan unlocks it, along with the other features included at that tier.
What happens once I have used it?
When you're ready to get started with Gumshoe, you can put your free sample project onto a paid plan right from your account. Look for the upgrade banner on the project itself, or find it from your Projects list, then choose your plan (Starter or Pro, or just Pro if your project already runs bigger than Starter allows) and AI models. You'll see the price before you confirm, and you'll need a payment method on file to complete the upgrade. Either way, the plan runs your Visibility Audit on a schedule, along with the other features included at that tier. Because subscriptions attach to projects, you can run as many projects as you need, each on its own plan, and you only pay for the projects you actually run. The Gumshoe pricing page has the current plans and what each one includes.
For the full walkthrough, see the article How do I upgrade my project to a paid subscription bundle?
Will I lose access to my past audits?
No. You keep access to the Visibility Audits you have already run. You can sign in to view and reference them anytime, and simply having a Gumshoe account and viewing your past work does not cost anything on its own.
