TL;DR: Your first report is a free sample. Viewing reports you've already created is always free. Charges apply only when you run a paid report, and never without a payment method on file.
What's free?
- Your first report: Every new self-serve account gets one free sample report (a Snapshot Audit). It's a smaller, lighter report with a limited set of personas, prompts, and AI models, but it gives you a real look at how Gumshoe works and how AI models talk about your brand. Free samples aren't available on invoice-billed accounts.
- Viewing existing reports: Any report you've already created stays free to view, as often as you like.
When do charges apply?
- Running a paid report: After your free sample, running a full Visibility Audit (formerly known as a report) requires a payment method on file.
- Recurring reports: A report set to run on a schedule (for example, weekly or monthly) is billed each time it runs.
- How you're billed: Some reports are billed at a fixed price for the plan you choose, and others are billed based on usage. You'll see the details for your options in the app and on the pricing page before you commit.
How do I stay in control of charges?
- Don't add a payment method and you won't be charged.
- You'll always see the cost before you confirm a paid report run.
- To stop a recurring report, archive it. Archiving turns off its scheduled runs, and you can unarchive it later. You can also reach us anytime at support@gumshoe.ai.
Does it matter what email address I use to sign up?
Signing up with a personal email address (such as Gmail) works, but access is more limited. Personal-email accounts need a payment method on file to use standard Gumshoe features and don't receive early access to new features. A business email address gives you full access.
Where can I see current pricing?
You can find up-to-date plans and pricing anytime on the Gumshoe pricing page at https://gumshoe.ai/#pricing. For questions about your specific account, contact support@gumshoe.ai.
