By default, Gumshoe compares your most recent run to the one right before it. If you'd rather compare against an older run, for example to see a bigger change over a longer stretch of time, you can choose which run to compare to.
How do I change which run I'm comparing to?
- Open the Visibility Audit.
- Click the "..." menu in the top right.
- Select "Compare to..."
- Choose None (no comparison, values are shown plainly), Previous run (the default), or any specific earlier run by date.
- Click Submit.
What does this change?
This changes the comparison numbers and deltas shown throughout the audit, like the ones next to Brand visibility and the Competitive leaderboard, not the audit itself. Your run history and the trends graph stay the same either way.
Can I remove or hide a run entirely?
Not yet. Runs can't be deleted, including a run you were billed for. If a specific run is throwing off your comparison numbers, choosing a different run to compare to is the way to get a cleaner delta without needing to remove anything.
Which audits have this option?
This is available for audits with 2 or more runs. If you only have one run so far, there's nothing yet to compare to.
