How long does a new subscription take to run the first time?
The first run on a new subscription takes longer than a regular run, usually 20 to 40 minutes, because it sets up and runs all of the audits included in your plan at once. That is normal for a first run. If it takes longer than that, contact our customer support team, and you can ask for a human anytime.
How long does a normal run take?
When you run your Visibility Audit, Gumshoe sends prompts to AI models (like ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, or Perplexity) and collects their answers. After that first setup run, most audits finish quickly, usually within about 15 minutes.
- As models respond, their results appear in your Visibility Audit.
- Audits run in the background, so you can check back later and the results will be waiting in your account.
- If a regular run has not finished within about 15 minutes, contact our customer support team.
Why is content generation taking a while?
Content generation is an optional extra step, and it can take up to 30 minutes. You will be emailed when it is done.
