Creating a workspace in Gumshoe lets you collaborate with teammates, manage shared Visibility Audits (formerly known as reports), and centralize your AI visibility work under a single brand or team. Follow these steps to get started.
What is a workspace in Gumshoe?
A workspace is a shared environment where multiple users can:
- Run Visibility Audits under a single brand, team name, or department
- Access each other's Visibility Audits and insights
- Share visibility data across multiple stakeholders
- Manage user roles and access
Workspaces are especially useful for marketing teams, agencies, SEO strategists, and enterprise users who need shared access to their AI visibility work. Every workspace sits under a company account, which is the top-level billing entity.
How do I create a workspace?
- Log in to your Gumshoe account.
- Click the dropdown in the top-left corner of the screen.
- Select "Create Workspace."

You will now see Gumshoe in the workspace you just created. As the creator, you automatically become an admin of that workspace. Any Visibility Audits you create in this workspace will be visible to other workspace teammates.
