You can share a Visibility Audit (formerly known as a report) with someone outside Gumshoe and move an entire project to another workspace so your teammates maintain ongoing access. Here is how to do both.
How do I share a Visibility Audit publicly?
Click “Share” in the top right corner of any Visibility Audit, then copy the link. Anyone with the link can view that Visibility Audit without a Gumshoe account. They will see the main view but will not be able to click through to the detailed pages. Sharing creates a link to the Visibility Audit itself, not to the whole project.
How do I move a project to another workspace?
In Gumshoe, you move the whole project, not an individual Visibility Audit. A project holds your Visibility Audit and everything associated with it, such as its Snapshot Audit, so moving the project keeps everything together in one step and ensures nothing gets left behind.
To move a project:
- Go to your Projects list.
- Find the project you want to move, then click the three-dot menu at the top right of its card.
- Select “Move project.”
- Choose the destination workspace.
- Click “Submit.”
The project, along with its Visibility Audit and associated audits, will now appear in the destination workspace.
What are the rules for moving a project?
- You can move a project out of a workspace only if you are an admin of that workspace.
- You can move a project into any workspace where you have at least member access.
- If you move a project into a workspace where you are not an admin, you will not be able to move it back out unless your role is upgraded.
- Workspace viewers cannot move projects.
For example, if you are an admin of both Workspace A and Workspace B, you can move projects between them freely. If you are an admin of Workspace A but only a member of Workspace B, you can move a project from A into B, but not back out.
For a full breakdown of what each role can do, see the team member roles article.
