Deleting a Gumshoe account is a permanent action, so we want to make sure it's truly your intended goal. In most cases, deleting your account is unnecessary, since there are easier ways to manage your projects and avoid charges.
How do I avoid charges without deleting my account?
You do not need to delete your account to avoid charges.
- You can view your past Visibility Audits anytime; simply having an account doesn't incur charges.
- Billing only applies to an active project subscription.
- If you want to stop future charges, you can pause your project's subscription from the project's Settings page.
How do I organize or archive my projects?
Edit your project's name on its Settings page to differentiate it from your other projects.
You can archive a project from your Projects page.
How do I permanently delete a project?
If you really want a project deleted permanently, we can do that for you.
- Please confirm the project name and share the project URL when contacting support.
- This helps us ensure we're removing the correct project(s).
Before you go, is there another way we can help?
If cost or getting more value from the platform is behind this, let's talk first:
- Run an agency? Our Partnership Program comes with no upfront obligations and only upside: you can try it out, price Gumshoe by client, and see exactly what each client costs before committing further. Schedule a chat with Shawn to see if it's a fit.
- Direct customer? We'd love the chance to show you how to get more out of the platform and find the setup that fits you best. Grab time with Mira to talk it through.
How do I delete my entire account?
If you still want to delete your Gumshoe account, a human will need to assist you. Please:
- Via the in-app support chat interface, ask to speak with a human, or email our team at support@gumshoe.ai.
- Let them know you read about your options in the Help Center and would still prefer to close your Gumshoe account.
- We'll handle the deletion and confirm once your account has been fully removed.
